David Blatner is the author of The Joy of π, as well as eight books on topics such as digital imaging and virtual reality. More than 500,000 copies of his books are in print in twelve languages. He has spent hundreds of hours flying between Asia, Europe, and North America. He and his wife and son live in Seattle, Washington.
